The man accused of stabbing a 24-year-old man near the Fortitude Valley train station on Monday morning has been identified as 20-year-old Seyram Kwami Djentuh.
The 20-year-old student was remanded in custody and will face Brisbane Magistrates Court on Date 8 August.His lawyer, Joe Wicking, made no comment outside court.Police allege an altercation broke out between two groups of men in Brunswick Street Mall around 4am on Monday and continued inside a shopping complex nearby, where Mr Djentuh allegedly stabbed Mr Tagaloa.
Regional Duty Officer Inspector Sean Cryer said police saw the incident take place on CCTV footage and emergency services were dispatched shortly after. On closer examination, they saw a male person lying on the ground and persons nearby had blood on them.
Police located Mr Djentuh and two other men, aged 21 and 20, on platform four of the Fortitude Valley station a short time later and arrested the trio.The two other men were released without charge after assisting police.

Lauie Michael Tagaloa, 24, died after he was allegedly stabbed in the neck in the incident at Fortitude Valley train station around 4am on Monday.
