CHRISSY ROUSE SUFFERS ‘SIGNIFICANT HEAD INJURY’, IN INDUCED COMA AFTER BSB CRASHBSB racer Chrissy Rouse is in an induced coma after suffering a ‘significant head injury’ in a crash at Donington Park, MSV confirms British Superbike Championship (BSB) racer Chrissy Rouse has been placed in a medically induced coma after suffering ‘a significant head injury’ in an accident during the third race of the Donington Park penultimate round weekend.
Rouse, who had been coming towards the end of his first full season in BSB with Crowe Performance, fell heavily at the final Goddards corner as the field was coming round to complete the opening lap of Race 3.With marshals deploying a red flag immediately, medical teams tended to Rouse on the scene before stabilising him ready to be transferred to Queens Medical Centre/University Hospital in Nottingham for treatment.
